Most of these photos were taken as the Pride Parade was marshalling, ready to set off at 2pm, Sunday 29 June 2003. We were on Church Street, just below the intersection with Yonge St. A few of the later pictures are from the parade in progress.
There were 17 parishes listed on the sides of the float, and on the (2000!) handout cards distributed to the crowds. Most of those parishes had marchers in the parade. You'll see pictures of them in parish groupings among the photos below.
Please contact us, especially if you have other images of Proud Anglicans

The float on Bloor St, just about to turn south on Yonge St. At this auspicious moment, the sound system (quite fortuitiously) began blasting forth the Hallelujah Chorus
The crowd was enjoying our music too (especially Chapel of Love). Here are rooftop revellers joining in with another go-round of YMCA
All sorts of people saw us – including Archbishop Finlay, who was in the crowd on Yonge St just south of College. We handed him one of our signs for the photo-op.
